Pricing Model
Four flexible options for your convenience.

We want you to feel you've received the best possible service for the best possible price.  For once, you won't pay for tech services and think "I should have just bought a new computer!" Many options are available and we can be very flexible.  We can discuss your needs and suggest the most cost-effective plan for you.

Pricing Model as of August 1, 2009

 
Option 1) $80 Off-Site Support
Let us work on your system on our own time and save!  This option is available for many services, and we'll even consider performing multiple services for the one low price of $80.  Pick up and delivery service is available for your convenience for a small fee of $35.
 
Option 2) Hourly Billing
Hourly billing allows you to receive many services at an hourly rate on-site.  For residential services, we generally charge $80 for the first hour, then $60/hr thereafter with a $180 cap.  Business accounts are $80 per hour with no cap unless contracted (option 4).
 
Option 3) Project-Based Billing
Control the overall cost with project-based billing.  We'll assess your needs and give you a quote for the entire project.
 
Option 4) Discounted Pre-Paid Contracts
Perfect for small businesses.  Lower your costs by hiring an expert consultant.  The more time you contract, the more you save!  Billing will occur in 5 minute increments with a 30 minute minimum.  Pricing tiers:
 
1 - 4 hours @ $80/each
5 - 10 hours @ $75/each
11 - 15 hours @ $70/each
16 hours + @ $65/each
Option 5) Managed IT Services
Perfect for small businesses with no in-house IT support.  With Managed IT Services, Mobile Tech Shop effectively becomes an off-site IT department for your small business.  We will be able to monitor the health and state of your network and all devices to ensure your environment maintains running optimally, as well as proactively identify and resolve issues before they become problems.  We will be able to remotely and securely connect to your system to assist you by either sharing your screen, or by remoting into the sytem directly.  More details will be available soon. 
 
These services require a 1 time setup fee which varies depending on the size of your environment.  Additionally there is an annual fee for licensing the software needed to manage your environment.  Once setup, your pre-paid hourly rates are reduced and trip charges will only be necessary for the rare on-site required service.
 
FREE MANAGED SERVICES 
(Includes a free, low functionality MSP platform)
1 - 9 hours @ $70/each
10 - 15 hours @ $65/each
16+ hours @ $60/each
 
LICENSED MANAGED SERVICES
(Requires you to license a professional MSP platform from Kaseya or N-able)
1 - 9 hours @ $60/each
10 - 15 hours @ $55/each
16+ hours @ $50/each
 
*These rates apply to basic workstation and server support.  Advanced networking support is billed at $95/hr and are not eligible for pre-paid contract discounts.  These services include, but are not limited to installing / configuring / troubleshooting a router, firewall, switch, IPS/IDS, and wi-fi security.  New server rollouts are also not elligible for pre-paid contracts, but may be negotiated with a project-based billing.
 
**Minimum support session billable time for on-site or remote support is 30 minutes.
 
***Mobile Tech Shop may need to be compensated for travel time and expenses.  A $35 travel charge may apply.
